Keep a strong frame. Keep people in your reality.

Today's random affirmation: Keep a strong frame. Keep people in your reality.

Welcome to Basil World! I'll explain the relevance of everything you see and hear.

After a meeting at #DEPARTMENT, some leaders asked me for the relevance of the meeting. I gave it. One of them respectfully had to disagree. I said, "Good. I'm often wrong, and I want to know." Being right is a fool's errand. Noticing when you're wrong, now that's intelligence. Actively pursuing evidence that you're wrong, that's wisdom. Pray for my successful human evolution.

This weekend I'll use the recorder to record something, get some apple liqueur and make fried apple pie.

Double posting showing up on my screen. Dunno what's going on. I haven't given in to the urge to twitter yet... I can feel it coming, but I've been fighting it so far.

I'd consider that above intelligence. It's harder to do and takes more than just IQ points. It takes an ability to be honest with yourself. Most people have a mental mirror that's like an antique fun house mirror. It's warped and wavy and gives back a distorted self image.

BTW, of the many blogs I read, yours has been giving me good thinking material of late. Thanks for sharing a peek inside your brain. It's pretty interesting in there!
