All week I've met old hippies and Christians who don't hold the door open for people, or refuse to even take the collection hat to pass it to the next guy.
I'm starting to worry that the secret to living to a ripe old age is not giving a damn about other people, making safe token gestures of altruism to feel good about yourself, and playing up your frailty to cut in line to get what you didn't pay for.
I keep my desires and values right on the surface. I'd rather be a predator than a hypocrite. You're welcome.
