Leadership VA requires students to present a public performance, or "Soapbox." I figured this was my last chance to give a valedictorian address, so I named my performance "Valedictorian Address," signed up for the final slot on the schedule, and walked onstage to Pomp and Circumstance. Hilarity ensues.

The internal bleeding in my torn voice box caused by laughter has not daunted anyone from making me laugh, including a call today from a professional funnyman. I can taste every joke.

Crows:

Last year I unveiled "The Frankencoustic," my first guitar/bass rig.

Cons:

Voice down to a whisper thanks to torn vocal chord.

People at work deliberately making me laugh because they know that it hurts to laugh.

Pros:

Nice lady at work made me a flip book with sayings like "Good morning," and "Send me that on e-mail." I added the saying "Stop making me laugh. It hurts."
