I have the TD-3S V-Compact Drum Set, and the 1/4" output...

I have the TD-3S V-Compact Drum Set, and the 1/4" output is a powered signal both from the headphone jack and the instrument "to amp" output. Both outputs are too hot and the cymbal crashes are saturated. Is there a box I can buy that'll let me drop the power of this signal?

What are you trying to connect it to? I've seen a few cables/boxes that might work, depending on the equipment.

Also, have you tried this:

Roland Knowledgebase Article # 103310

Product: TD-3 V-COMPACT-SET

The volume, or “level,” can be adjusted for any of the
instruments in a drum kit. Use the following steps to
adjust the level of an instrument:

1. Select a drum kit.

2. Press LEVEL/PAN so the level value is in the
display — the LEVEL/PAN button flashes.
Note: Each press of the LEVEL/PAN button
alternates between the level and pan settings.

3. Hit the pad to select the instrument whose
volume you’d like to change.

4. Press the + or – buttons to increase or decrease
the instrument’s volume.

5. Press DRUM KIT when you’re finished. The
settings are stored automatically.

Thanks for your help!

URL for Roland Knowledgebase?

That article shows how to change the level of each instrument. My problem is that the signal from the 1/4" guitar cord out of the entire drum kit to the amp or PA is too hot. I have volume control and can turn the output down, but I'm plugging in a powered signal to a jack that assumes a non-powered signal. I need a magic box that turns a 1/4" powered signal into a 1/4" not-powered signal, preferably one that allows me to adjust the degree of power/amps/volts/whateverthehellitis.

Thanks!!!!!! You are the AV Pimp.

Cool... I've seen a few things that might help but have no idea what they might cost. Lemme look. Will get back to you.

Recommended by my office's AV guru. B&H is out of stock, but you should be able to find it somewhere if it fits the bill.
