What Ashraf Ramzy taught me

What Ashraf Ramzy taught me - at the Golden Fleece storytelling conference April 22, 2006.

Leadership requires reframing of experience and flexibility of belief, and contingency planning on how to redirect the resources and avents of the moment toward the outcome.

What people have confidence about identifies what they believe.

Storytelling ls like being a con man with no hidden agenda. As an entertainer, you're leading the story in the direction you want. To lead the story where you want, you have to be flexible about what belief is appropriate in this situation to lead the story where you want it to go.

The end state of your performance is people having had a great experience. getting to that end state is telling the story and applying beliefs to the experiences in the story and the experience of reading it to the end state.
