Today at the folk school I made a whole wheat dough and rolled it into a pita, thickened some beef stew with a butter-flour roux and put it in the dough and folded it into a beef pastie and roasted it in the wood-fired brick pizza oven.

Then I turned a whole wild alaskan salmon with a head, cut it into steaks, pan-fried it in a cast-iron pan with blackening seasoning I made yesterday and served it with a white wine pan sauce.

Go me.
