ear-training

I'm recording music. I can't stay on pitch. The spouse tells me I'm trying to "make my voice interesting" and making it worse, but this is not the case. I'm not trying to do anything other than stay on pitch.

I want singing lessons but I can't get a straight story on prices from music stores or local schools. I'm reviewing content from...

http://www.google.com/search?q=ear-training-online

...but the most effective ear-training I've found? Rock Band.

I would ask a vocal music teacher at the local high school or community college. Student budgets, ya know?

basilwhite: Melodee Music called me back.

Melodee Music called me back. $30 for a half-hour. They have Fridays at 2:30 open. Too bad I have a job! I'll keep looking. Thanks.
