Today's random assertion: Sometimes I make myself do things whether I want to or not.
I do a lot of work I don't value. Other people value it, but I think it's a waste of my salary and career for ME to do it. But while I'm doing it, I do it as best I can. I saw a bunch of photos of recipients of the Medal of Honor and quotes from them. Many quotes emphasized leading with your conscience. My conscience tells me to do the best work I can, and to find another job. I find no contradiction.
I finally got a decent night's sleep. Moving my workout from evening to morning seems to work.
There's a bluegrass jam this evening at Round Hill Community Arts Center. I might go. I enjoy the fellowship, but if I never hear another G-C-D chord progression it'll be too soon.
Yard work aplenty this weekend. We need a man-sized gap between the plants and the house to keep the ants outdoors. I enjoy doing yard work with my honeybunny. I miss her when I'm at work. I got it bad.
