Notes from Ms. Hui's singing lesson, May 27, 2010

"When you sing, your ear has to hear what is to come next in the song."

"On the top notes of a song, open the dome of your head. Not really, but it's a trick that we say to sound better."

"Keep using flowing sound, until you can sing emotionally with out using throat voice, then you will earn the right to sing ewmotionally as a reward."

Homework: "Major-General's Song," Gilbert and Sullivan, H.M.S. Pinafore
