A thank-you note to YOU, the person reading this, right now.

I have absolutely no idea what my writing means to anyone. I just gauge people's reactions as to what they enjoy and try to give that back.

Someone today told me that my writing that makes them feel like they're having the experiences that I describe in my writing.

I can't think of a greater compliment. I'm almost crying as I type this.

I try to "write like a dog" -- keep it to what I see, hear, smell, taste and touch, and keep my reporting of what's going on inside of me to references of previous or imagined things I see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

I guess my writing's working if people are having emotional equivalents of the experiences I'm trying to share.

Thanks for reading.
